At one time, hair transplants were done by taking a strip of skin from the back of the head and moving it up front, but that approach has been eclipsed by FUE, follicular unit extraction. Due to our 30 years of experience we can still offer FUT or strip procedure but 99% of patients today choose FUE because it is so noninvasive and the post-op is so easy. Most people work the next day.
