DR. DANIEL J. KROCHMAL, MD, FACS
Known for his lightheartedness, quirky sense of humor, exceptional rock-skipping abilities, passion for Chicago’s restaurants, attention to detail, and dreadful singing, Dr. Krochmal prides himself on providing personalized, compassionate, concierge-level service to all of his patients.
A Michigan native, Dr. Krochmal graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School, and did his General Surgery Residency at Mayo Clinic Arizona. He then completed his Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then trained at the world-renowned Hunstad Kortesis Center in Charlotte where he learned advanced body contouring, breast, and facial aesthetic procedures.
Dr. Krochmal is Board Certified in both Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. He is a member of prestigious organizations such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and The Aesthetic Society (formerly known as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery or ASAPS), and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is dedicated to his patients, and sits on the Health Policy and the Legislative Advocacy Committees for ASPS (and is currently the Vice Chair of Patient Safety). He is also the Vice President of the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgeons (ISPS).
Loren Comitor - Director, Hair Restoration Program
Having undergone hair restoration procedures over 30 years ago, Loren is living proof that it works beautifully and lasts a lifetime. He has worked tirelessly, teaching and training, physicians and technicians in the art and science of Hair Restoration. He truly specializes in the psychology of hair loss and how it emotionally affects men and women of all ages. He has worked with some of the most influential doctors in hair and cosmetic surgery before joining Dr. Daniel Krochmal, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, at his distinguished practice in Hinsdale, Illinois.
In keeping with the practice philosophy on concierge-level care, Dr. Krochmal and Loren instantly agreed on a “Quality, Not Quantity” approach. This separates them from almost all of the clinics in the greater Chicagoland area who seem mainly concerned with filling up as many patient beds per day as possible. In our practice we will do procedures on “one patient a day”. This gives that patient the best we have to offer from equipment, to expert medical technicians, to the doctor’s attention.
